1. Always remember that primary living spaces are orientated to the sun and will heat the house naturally.
2. Suggest using floors that are finished with large-format, glazed porcelain ceramic tiles. This type of floor also helps keep a comfortable room temperature all year round.
3. Low VOC (Volatile organic compound) cabinet / paint should be used at all times.
4. For your remodel employ cabinets that have no formaldehyde.
5. All bathroom and kitchen remodels should utilize eco-friendly light-gauge steel, typically 25% recycled content.
